Its turtle time! Turtle Takeoff 5k time that is! So get ready to throw on your shell and run the beach in New Smyrna for a 5K like no other on Saturday, May 2oth! Whether you run like a turtle or a rabbit, this is a race for you with all ages and skill levels welcome! This chip-timed race takes place at the Flagler Ave beach approach and features multiple age and gender medal categories, and FREE t-shirts to all runners!
When and where does the race take place?
Saturday May 20th, 2016. The race course begins on the beach in front of the boardwalk at the Flagler Avenue Beach Approach in New Smyrna Beach. Registration opens at 8am. Race start time is promptly 9am.

AWARDS
Top overall male and female and top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards. Age groups include 13 & under, 14-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 -74, 75-79, 80 & over
TIMING & SCORING: Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib
